  1. This weeks short story was a good one but left a debatable question at the end. Was she in the wallpaper or not who was in the wallpaper and what made the man faint. I hope that the test ask about the cure she was prescribed, because I know about that we'll. on the other hand I hop we don't have a lot of discussion question on the test.

  2. I have multiple thoughts about this week's story. I thought this story was very confusing. For the most part I didn't understand anything about the wallpaper. I didn't know whether she was the wallpaper all along or did the wallpaper possess her at the end. What it want to be on the test are questions based on the narrator'a husband, because I understood him completely. Although, I wouldn't like anything about the wallpaper; because I was totally confused.

  3. I didn't really enjoy this story because I still doesn't know what happened.I hope that this test will have the story vocabulary questions because I am quite comfortable with those. I hope the test doesn't ask about what happened to the woman because I really don't know.

  4. This week's short story had me puzzled. For one reason, the story made me wonder was the woman crazy or was it her temporary nervous depression that made her like that. I hope the test ask about the vocabulary words because I know some of them. I also hope that the test question us about John because his part in the story was interpretable. On the other hand, I hope the test doesn't ask about what happened to the woman. The reason why is because I really don't know did the woman become the wallpaper or not.

  5. This week's story had me confused. I wanted to know what truly happened to the woman. I also wanted to know John was embarrassed of wife's depression. Is that why he basically locked her in the room all alone. The part that really puzzled me was the wallpaper.I didn't understand what happened at the end. Was she the wallpaper? I want the test to consist of an analysis of the characters because I know them extremely well. I do not want the test to have questions about the end of the story because I didn't fully understand it.

    1. Watch for omitting words. You feel you didn't understand the end because the end is not definite. This is where making text- supported inferences comes in. The author doesn't have to tell you everything. You simply need to be able to make an inference and support it.

  6. This week's story had a very strange plot. It was not only confusing, but it also left a lot of unanswered questions. Was John's wife swallowed up by the wallpaper? Did John faint because he saw the woman in the wallpaper? What was it with this wallpaper? As far as the test goes, I hope it consists of a few vocabulary words and questions about the characters because I know that pretty well. On the other hand, I hope there are no questions dealing with the wallpaper because I was lost on it.

  7. I think that this weeks story was a good one . I enjoyed the mystery of whether there was actually a woman in the wallpaper or the narrator was just completely insane .I hope that on the test there is an opinion question about why we think the husband fainted because i think i have a valid reason on why he might have .On the other hand , i do not want a question about was there actually a woman in the wallpaper because i think there was but i dont know how to prove it

  8. This week's story was enjoyable, if you ask me. The suspense it built had me on the edge of my seat, literally. My thoughts about the story range from many different ways. Was the lady trapped inside the wallpaper, did she manage to escape, or was the lady actually sick? Questions after questions as I read, which would leave you thinking and wanting to read more. As we test on Monday, I would love to have questions based on our opinions since there would not be a right or wrong answer. Sadly, I hope there isn't any questions concerning specific lines from the story to explain. I wouldn't want to infer it the wrong way.

  9. This week's story was actually a good one. Because it left me very questionable, I wish it hadn't ended the way it did. On the upcoming test, I hope there are questions about John and why did he treat his wife the way he did. However, I do not wish for anything about the wallpaper to be on the test. I didn't understand this part of the story because I didn't know what was so significant about the wallpaper. Was it really another woman in the wallpaper or had it been the narrator all along?

  10. This weeks' short story was excellent! It was excellent because the author accomplished what he was trying to do to the the reader which is leave him or her full of questions. I hope and pray that there is a question about John on the test.Simply because I know a lot about John and he is my favorite character. What happened to the woman in the wallpaper is a question I hope is not on the test. I hope it's not on there because I do not have an answer to that question.

  11. This week story was very good and helpful. It introduced me to something I didn't know women could possibly go through. I hope that questions about what happened to the woman be not the test because the ending was very tricky. I hope questions about why she couldn't write during her depression be on the test because that part was very comprehensive.

In my opinion this story was a very intriguing but complex story. I say this because it was intreating while challenging your mind to decipher what the author.was trying to say. One thing I hope to see on the test is the significance of the prison bars on the window. I say this because after reading that part of the story I was wondering what role did it play in the story. One thing that I hope isn't on the test is being able to describe all the windows I will struggle on this because the author was very vivid in this and I might leave out some parts.

  13. This weks story was very delightful although many of my questions about the the story are still unanswered. this story inspire me because it gives me a better understanding of why women are so strong and hard working and can do any thing our job as a man. I hope that we don't have a written test but a group test we should pick sides of how we think the story ended and write the rest of the book to see if the woman became the wallpaper or if the man seen the woman in the wallpaper. All in all I loved the story and it was a great experience reading it. :)
